As a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial analysis and reporting needs. You will monitor key financial metrics, contribute to business metric reporting, and provide insightful analyses to assist in decision-making for senior management.

Your work will involve consolidating and analyzing financial data, assisting with financial planning, and ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial reporting. You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint, and a curiosity for data analysis.

This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented individual eager to collaborate and grow in a dynamic team environment. This role will work approx. 20-25 hours per week; expected to become full-time as the firm grows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends.
  • Supporting monthly and quarterly business metric reporting.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
  • Consolidating and analyzing financial data.
  • Assisting with financial planning and forecasting.
  • Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly firm reports as required by the CPA/Bookkeeper
  • Act as an internal bookkeeper to ensure that payments, reports, and expenses are recorded accurately.
  • Support Management, including HR, with projects as related to finance and operations.

Skills & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, or accounting, or similar; required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in reporting and data analysis tools (Tableau and SQL are a plus).
  • Strong business analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork and collaborative skills.

Compensation: The base pay for this role is commensurate with experience/education. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role consists of variable compensation, including bonus incentives. Base pay is based on market location.

Work Conditions: This position will perform duties under normal office working conditions, including the prolonged use of a computer, and office equipment, and working in close proximity to others. Essential physical requirements may include standing, walking, stooping, typing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
