We are currently hiring a Video Editor to join our team and work closely with management/marketing team to manage all aspects of the raw footage to deliver high-quality and impactful video content. The Video Editor will shape compelling narratives and visuals that resonate with audiences, bringing stories to life and engaging viewers. Their skillful editing elevates video quality, creating impactful content that captivates and inspires.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Editing and assembling raw video footage to create engaging and compelling video content
  • Understanding video editing techniques like splicing, sound balancing, color correction, color grading, trimming, adding transitions, and applying visual effects to enhance video quality
  • Review the script to better understand the video production requirements
  • Editing raw footage content and cutting video sequences to ensure that concepts are translated effectively
  • Review all edited tapes to identify any issues and recommend changes as required
  • Organizing and managing all audio and video assets to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Collaborating with creative teams and clients to understand video project requirements
  • Staying updated with industry trends and editing techniques
  • Optimizing video content for different platforms and audience preferences

Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Videography, Marketing, or similar; required.
  • You have solid prior experience are a video editor or videographer
  • You have strong expertise in editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effect, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • You possess good color grading sense and skills and are able to tell a story through editing
  • You can perform simple 2D animation, Motion graphics, etc.
  • You are organized and with high attention to detail
  • You can deliver high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
  • Fluent in Hindi and English; required.

Compensation: The base pay for this role is commensurate with experience/education. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role consists of variable compensation, including bonus incentives. Base pay is based on market location.

Work Conditions: This position will perform duties under normal office working conditions, including the prolonged use of a computer, and office equipment, and working in close proximity to others. Essential physical requirements may include standing, walking, stooping, typing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
